Going for a hike on the Rito Alto Trail is always a nice adventure, and Eureka Mountain is clearly visible from San Isabel Lake. Hermit Pass is right next door to San Isabel Lake and is a good place; Groundhog Basin is a brilliant place here at San Isabel Lake. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! San Isabel Lake rocks! There's so much to do here at San Isabel Lake       that you need to camp here for a while, North Crestone Campground is a great spot for that; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Challenger Golf Club is in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at San Isabel Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here                  at San Isabel Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Lake Creek Campground is a delightful location to do that; there are tremendous sites to discover along the Hermit Lake Trail. San Isabel Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. So much amusing stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, just amazing. AppleLodge Bed And Breakfast is a great site to get some rest; a lake close by is Hermit Lake. Not much rain falls here at San Isabel Lake; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month of the year is January. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
