This lake is so wonderful. San Isabel Lake is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. San Isabel Lake gets very little rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So many cool things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, not sufficient time. San Isabel Lake is near Hermit Pass which is absolutely worth stopping at, and dry warm beds       await you at AppleLodge Bed And Breakfast. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Challenger Golf Club, and a good place to camp here at San Isabel Lake is North Crestone Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Horseshoe Lake is next to San Isabel Lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Loop Trail. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Camping is available at                  Lake Creek Campground; here at San Isabel Lake you can catch a glimpse of Eureka Mountain. Having a good time at San Isabel Lake is uncomplicated. Groundhog Basin is right here at San Isabel Lake; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Hermit Lake Trail. At San Isabel Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at San Isabel Lake temperatures fall to the 0's.
