The beauty of Salmon Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range. Salmon Lake is regularly a quite dehydrated place; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Blue River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Salmon Lake has to offer, you can camp at

| | Blue River Campground. You clearly should like the Park Range. After a long day outdoors Snowshoe Motel is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Salmon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Boulder Creek Campground is a splendid location for that. Everybody close by loves skiing at Breckenridge. the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Salmon Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Silverthorne Days Inn is a brilliant spot to
get some rest, and there are other locations here than Salmon Lake, for example Ruby Lake. Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks is a golf course right next door to Salmon Lake; the skiing at Copper Mountain is glorious. What a location
this is for outdoors people. If the weather is lovely, you acquire a magnificent vista of Red Peak from Salmon Lake, and do take a hike on the Lily Pad Lake Trail. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to
do in the Park Range. If you come at the right time of year, Tenmile Creek offers some pleasant whitewater, and Salmon Lake is right by the Wheeler Dillion Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Salmon Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Silverthorne, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Mesa-Cortina Trail.
