A tremendous vista of charming Saint Louis Peak is available from Saint Louis Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Darling Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure, and hey, Gotta ski right? Loveland is a
pleasant spot to do that. During the summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Saint Louis Lake with nighttime lows in the 40's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime
temperatures at Saint Louis Lake fall into the-10's. At Saint Louis Lake you don’t see much precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. And that's not all the things
to do here in the Park Range. Near Saint Louis Lake you come across the Saint Louis Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Byers Creek Campground is a great local campground. So much amusing stuff in the Park Range, just mind-boggling.
What would winter be without some skiing at Arapahoe Basin, and at Saint Louis Lake you always meet someone from Silverthorne. There is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Saint Louis Lake called the Byers Peak Trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Gordon Creek.
