This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Stonebridge Inn, and camping at Saint John Reservoir is tremendous fun, Avalanche Campground is a tremendous local campground. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Saint John Reservoir has it all. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Sunlight Mountain. Near Saint John Reservoir you stumble on the Blue Creek Trail which       is a magnificent hiking trail; a golf course nearby is Ranch at Roaring Fork Golf Course. If you came for an overnight stay Brb Crystal River Resort is a great place to camp, and going for a hike on the Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway is always a brilliant adventure. Around Saint John Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; April is the month that gets the most rain while June is generally the driest month. During the days of summer highs here at Saint John                  Reservoir get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; night lows at Saint John Reservoir during the wintertime ordinarily fall into the 0's.
