S Lazy U Reservoirs is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan Mountains. Not much precipitation falls here at S Lazy U Reservoirs; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at S Lazy U Reservoirs. Camping at S Lazy U Reservoirs is great fun,

This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Lake Fork Gunnison River for all you adrenaline people; a pleasant nearby hotel is Matterhorn Motel. The Fern Creek Stock Driveway offers hiking at its best, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Rio Grande. Lakes? Sure, Hermit Lakes is in the vicinity, and S Lazy U Reservoirs | |
