The Ruybalid Trail offers hiking at its best, and No Name Lake is a magnificent lake close by. During the warm months at Ruybalid Lake highs are ordinarily in the 60's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Ruybalid Lake through the winter generally descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Spruce Lodge is       a great place to spend a night or two, and obviously North Fork Rough Creek flows through this vicinity. Ruybalid Lake is a reasonably wet place typically with a lot of rainfall; March is when you get the most snow here while June is generally the driest month. Glide down the rapids of Conejos River in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Ruybalid Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Conejos Campground is a great site for that. Ruybalid Lake                  is located in the San Juan Mountains. So much exciting stuff in the San Juan Mountains, just impressive. If you came to camp Spectacle Lake Campground is a delightful place to do that, and do take a hike on the Conejos Stock Driveway. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. If you come at the right time of year, Rio de los Pinos offers some great whitewater, and Ruybalid Lake is right by the Conejos Trail.
