     At Ruby Lee Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; through October this area sees the most rain while February is usually the driest month. For the period of the days of summer at Ruby Lee Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Ruby Lee Reservoir. Be careful coming to the Escalante Breaks, you might not  
   ever want to return home again. If you need a place to stay Fruita Super 8 Motel is a pleasant choice; Ruby Lee Reservoir is a spot with many visitors from Grand Junction.
Ruby Lee Dam is a scenic place next to Ruby Lee Reservoir; Highline Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. Don't leave Ruby Lee Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Old Ute Indian Trail, and a trip to Colorado National Monument is recommended. This lake is so wonderful.
 
               There's so much to do here at Ruby Lee Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Mack's Inn and RV Park is a great spot for that, and you can go for a hike on the Pollock Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. There are magnificent spots to explore along the Ute Trail, and Colorado River is a delightful whitewater spot close by. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn And Suites Fruita, and while you're here, you could also pop by charming Mack Mesa Lake.
That right there is a load of fun things already but it goes on, the Escalante Breaks has it all. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Ruby Lee Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Highline, and Coal Gulch is another splendid place to visit close by. Ruby Lee Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Escalante Breaks.
