Looking for something close to Ruby Lakes? Anderson Lake is in the neighborhood, and dry warm beds await you at VillaHotel Bears Creek. This is       no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Everybody close by loves skiing at Aspen Highlands, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Lake Creek. Ruby Lakes is located in the Sawatch Range. Ruby Lakes is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Dorchester Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and hey, Galena                  Creek is a brilliant local stream. This lake is so wonderful. Portal Campground is a great local campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Star Trail. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Ruby Lakes reach the 70's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Ruby Lakes dip into the 0's. Garfield Peak is stunning and can be made out from Ruby Lakes. You're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Petroleum Lake is one of those close by, and do take a hike on the Timberline Trail. Hiking along the Matchless Trail is magnificent fun; hey, Gotta ski right?
