It's always fun to stop by Ruby Lakes. That right there is heaps of exciting things already but it goes on, the Sawatch Range has it all. The skiing at Aspen Highlands is glorious. There's so much to do here at Ruby Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Dorchester Campground is a brilliant location for that. If the weather is great here at Ruby Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Timberline Trail, and let's not forget Galena Creek which is a stream

| | that you may stumble upon while you're here. The warmest time of the year at Ruby Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Ruby Lakes dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.

at Aspen Mountain.
