A visit to Ruby Lakes is always a good idea. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Ruby Lakes is right by the Timberline Trail, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Lake Creek.
If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. The Alpenblick By Aspen Lodging Company is a magnificent site to get some rest, and Anderson Lake is a nearby lake that you could take

| | a look at. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Aspen Highlands is next to Ruby Lakes; do take a hike on the Matchless Trail. From Ruby Lakes you acquire a nice view of Garfield Peak; why not a little side spree to Galena Creek.
You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Sawatch Range. The skiing at Aspen Mountain is great, and if you came to camp Portal Campground is a nice location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. | |

The Star Trail offers hiking at its best; dry warm beds await you at VillaHotel Bears Creek. At Ruby Lakes during the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime comes
with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Ruby Lakes.
Ruby Lakes is mostly a pretty dried up location; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. That right
there is a heap of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Sawatch Range has it all. Ruby Lakes is good enough to spend more than a day at, Dorchester Campground is a good local campground, and get dripping wet paddling on Roaring Fork.
