     This lake is so wonderful. You must definitely stop by Overlook Point while you're here at Ruby Lake. There's so much to do here at Ruby Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Creek Campground is a brilliant spot for that. If you need a location to stay Purgatory Lodge by Durango Mountain Resorts is a glorious choice; hiking is a popular thing to do around Ruby Lake; Highline Trail is a great local trail. Having a wonderful time at Ruby Lake is trouble-free.
 
   Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more amusing things to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Get wet paddling on Canyon Creek, and if you came to camp Transfer Park Campground is a great place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Pear Lake is close to Ruby Lake; dry warm beds await you at Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful.

               skiing at Silverton, and paddling on Animas River is so much fun. All the outdoors entertaining stuff near Ruby Lake will keep you coming back again and again. You could also take a look at Emerald Lake since you're here at Ruby Lake; it's close by, and good hiking is available along the Whitehead Trail. There's brilliant hiking along the Deer Park Trail, and hey, New York Creek is a wonderful local stream.
Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The San Juan and Jemez Mountains rocks! At Ruby Lake you can observe Lime Mesa; the slopes of Kendall Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. It is very dried up here at Ruby Lake ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is June. High temperatures at Ruby Lake through the summertime are in the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Ruby Lake are in the 0's.
