A visit to Ruby Lake is always a good idea. Ruby Lake is a beautiful lake in the San Juan Mountains. For the period of the summer months highs here at Ruby Lake reach the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's, and night lows at Ruby Lake all through the wintertime typically plunge into the 0's. All year is a wonderful time in the San Juan Mountains if you love the outdoors. Lake Purgatory

| | Lodge is a glorious place to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Whitehead Trail is always a brilliant adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. Silverton is a very popular ski area around here, and some close by water includes New York Creek. It is very dry here at Ruby Lake ordinarily; August is the month that gets the most rain; June is when it's the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things near Ruby Lake. Don't leave Ruby Lake without first going for a hike along the Highline Trail, and Ruby Lake is not the only place nearby,
Dollar Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Transfer Park Campground, and Animas River is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. If you're here at Ruby Lake, checking out Overlook Point is a must, and
if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Canyon Creek.
The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Kendall Mountain. So many amusing things to do here in the San
Juan Mountains, too glorious to be true. Ruby Lake is a brilliant location to camp, Bear Creek Campground is a brilliant location, and you can go for a hike on the Deer Park Trail.
