If you like skiing, you're in luck; SolVista is close to Ruby Lake, and Ruby Lake is in close proximity to Bowen Pass which is unquestionably worth a visit. Ruby Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If the weather is great here at Ruby Lake, you can go for       a hike along the Mineral Point Trail, and while you're here, you could also stop at picturesque Bowen Lake. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. Why not camp at Teller City Campground if you're here at Ruby Lake; the Illinois River Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. Berthoud Pass is a good local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Bowen Trail will let you absorb the natural                  beauty of this vicinity, and Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a brilliant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Parika Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and the top of Bowen Mountain is easily observed from Ruby Lake. A tremendous nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn Bighorn Lodge, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River. Summertime highs at Ruby Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 30's.
