If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Round Pond. So many exciting things in the Front Range, just tremendous. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Cache La Poudre River; a glorious place to camp here at Round Pond is Endovalley Campground. Just can't get enough of the Front Range. Take a side trip to Chaos Creek, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Loch Vale Trail.

coming back time and again. Forest Canyon is close to Round Pond and is a perfect site, and going for a hike along the Glacier Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Round Pond is one of the lakes here
in the Front Range.

Park Condos is a good choice, and Berthoud Pass is a perfect local ski area. At Round Pond you don’t see much rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is November.
