For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Park Range. Really great skiing awaits you at Steamboat, and lakes are such peaceful places,       why not stop by Victoria Lake. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Round Mountain Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Granite Campground is a delightful place to camp, and going for a hike along the Crags Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Why not camp at Summit Lake Campground while you're here at Round Mountain Lake, and Round Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Round Mountain Lake. A round of golf                  at nearby Haymaker Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time; if you need a site to stay Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums is a good choice. There are other spots here than Round Mountain Lake, for example Lake Albert. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Elk River; dry warm beds await you at Winterwood Townhomes. This lake is so wonderful. Howelsen Hill has great slopes and a friendly staff, and hiking along the Newcomb Creek Trail is brilliant fun. Round Mountain Lake is one of the lakes here in the Park Range. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is bountiful here in the Park Range. If the weather is delightful here at Round Mountain Lake, you can go for a hike along the Rainbow Lake Trail, and a wooded area nearby is Routt National Forest.
