Go to Ross Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Ross Reservoir reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Ross Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. is just a very short distance away. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ross Reservoir; Newcomb Creek Trail is a good local trail, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to make out at Stambaugh Dam in close proximity to
