Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Ross Lake Reservoir is one of them. On a wonderful day you obtain a panorama of Mount Aetna from Ross Lake Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Do visit Hunt Lake in close proximity to Ross Lake Reservoir, it's a pretty lake; Ross Lake Reservoir is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Garfield Campground is a splendid site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Very charming scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Monarch, and dry warm beds await you at Buena Vista Super 8 Motel. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Sawatch Range. while here. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Ross Lake Reservoir. Stay the night at Monarch Park Campground, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Browns Creek Trail.
It is very arid here at
Ross Lake Reservoir frequently; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most; June on the other hand is the driest. That right there is a lot of exciting things already but it goes on, the Sawatch
Range has it all. While staying at Ross Lake Reservoir you could always look at Columbus Gulch, and Waterdog Lakes is a nearby lake that you could go to. Why not take a look at Boss Lake Dam since you're here, and if the weather is
wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Fooses Creek Trail.
Ross Lake Reservoir is located in the Sawatch Range. All through the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Ross Lake Reservoir. Once the sun is down
it plunges down to the 30's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Ross Lake Reservoir dipping down into the-20's through winter nights.
