If you go for the outdoors, you'll like Ross Lake Reservoir. If you came for an overnight stay Monarch Park Campground is a perfect location to camp, and if the weather is pretty, you obtain a great sight of Mount Aetna from Ross Lake Reservoir. There's nice hiking along the Quakey Mountain Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Boss Lake Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. While staying at Ross Lake Reservoir you could always discover Columbus Gulch, and not far from Ross Lake Reservoir you'll locate Boss Lady Reservoir which is a beautiful lake. Ross Lake Reservoir is mostly a relatively dried up place;
during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and June on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Super 8 Buena Vista; there are tremendous places to look at along the
Fooses Creek Trail.
Everybody loves Hoffman Park, also Boss Lake Dam is worth visiting since you're here. The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful.
