The beauty of Rosa Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range. But wait, there's more to do close to Rosa Lake. Near Rosa Lake you hit upon the Crags Trail which is a good hiking trail; the view of wonderful Horse Thief Peak is great. So many exciting things in the Park Range, just remarkable. Gotta ski! Howelsen Hill is a tremendous spot to do that; Winterwood Townhomes is a magnificent location to get some rest.

| | Just can't get enough of Rosa Lake. While you're here at Rosa Lake, you could also take a look at beautiful Lake Margaret. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Park Range. On a great day at Rosa Lake you can take a hike along the Luna Lake Trail; if you need a spot to stay Western Lodge is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Steamboat are so inviting nobody can resist, and paddling on Elk River is so much fun.

much precipitation falls here at Rosa Lake; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest month is August. Do stop at Mirror Lake near Rosa Lake, it's a pretty lake; get dripping wet paddling on Elk River. East Branch
South Fork Mad Creek is a fine place to have a look at. There's so much to do here at Rosa Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Summit Lake Campground is a pleasant place for that.
For the duration of the summer at Rosa
Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Rosa Lake. The Big Creek Lake Trail is a brilliant
hiking trail in the vicinity of Rosa Lake, and close to Rosa Lake you come across a golf course called Haymaker Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Dry Lake Campground; Horse Thief Park is a glorious site.
