There is a splendid hiking trail near Rosa Lake called the Big Creek Lake Trail, and why not head up to Howelsen Hill and strap some skis to your feet. Winterwood Townhomes is a great place to get some rest, and Horse Thief Park is a nice location. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. You can run the rapids of Elk River next to Rosa Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. The Luna Lake Trail is a great hiking trail near Rosa Lake,

| | and do explore East Branch South Fork Mad Creek since you're here at Rosa Lake. For the period of the months of summer here at Rosa Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Rosa Lake through the winter frequently dip into the-10's. Course, and if you came to camp Dry Lake Campground is a delightful location to do that.
That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Rosa Lake has it all. Going for a hike on the Crags Trail is always a great adventure,
and Steamboat is a very popular ski area in close proximity. There's whitewater on Elk River for all you thrill seekers, and a lake close by is Mirror Lake. Rosa Lake is a beautiful lake in the Park Range.
Not enough hours in
a day to enjoy the Park Range. Camping at Summit Lake Campground is always a great experience; a delightful close by hotel is Western Lodge. At Rosa Lake you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with
the most snow; the driest month of the year is August. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Park Range will keep you coming back over and over. You could also pop by Lake Margaret while you're here at Rosa Lake; it's close by; on a wonderful day you obtain a great view of Horse Thief Peak from Rosa Lake.
