A normal amount of rain falls here at Roosevelt Lakes; most of the snow falls throughout April while October is usually the driest month. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Georgetown is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and Beartrack Lakes is a nearby lake that you could go to. Throughout the summertime months, highs generally are in the 60's at Roosevelt Lakes. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 30's. During the wintertime highs are
regularly in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Roosevelt Lakes.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Roosevelt Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Beartrack Campground, and Arapahoe Basin has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Tumbling Creek is a good place to go to; if you need a site to stay Georgetown Mountain Inn is a splendid choice. But wait, there's more entertaining things

to do in the Front Range. There's so much to do here at Roosevelt Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Deer Creek Campground is a magnificent place for that, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Rosalie Trail.
And that's not all you can do here at Roosevelt Lakes. On a fine day at Roosevelt Lakes you can take a hike along the Abyss Trail, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Clear Creek. Having a glorious time in the Front Range is trouble-free. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Clear Creek, and if you get bored of Roosevelt Lakes you could also pop by nearby Little Beartrack Lakes. Roosevelt Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Front Range.
While you're here at Roosevelt Lakes you can take a hike along the Chicago Lakes Trail, and from Roosevelt Lakes you acquire a great view of Rosalie Peak.

Arapahoe Basin has always been known as the legend for its legendary steeps on East Wall and off Pallavicini lift, legendary views from the Continental Divide, and now for a legendary 80% terrain expansion into Montezuma Bowl. Arapahoe Basin will almost double in size this season as we expand into Montezuma Bowl with high alpine groomed runs, bowls, chutes and glades.
Arapahoe Basin strongly encourages our guests and employees to ride the free Summit Stage bus or to carpool to the ski area! Riding public transportation and carpooling reduces greenhouse gases and congestion on I-70. It also saves you money on gas, reduces the parking crunch at the ski area, and gives you someone to talk with on the ride up. ...
