You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area close to Rolling Reservoir has to offer. South Park Lodge and RV Park is a splendid campground nearby; a golf course nearby is Rolling Hills Country club. Rolling Reservoir really is in the middle of a       charming outdoors paradise. If you come at the right time of year, Bear Creek offers some tremendous whitewater, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Duke Lake. Not much rain falls here at Rolling Reservoir; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Rolling Reservoir get into the 80's, and the overnight is slightly colder of                  course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Rolling Reservoir temperatures drop to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Fairgrounds Gulch is a delightful location to discover; folks from Boulder love to come here. If time allows, Rocky Mountain National Park is a national park worth visiting. Lakes? Sure, Kelly Lake is nearby. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mesa Trail, and glide down the rapids of Clear Creek in a kayak.
