A visit to Rolling Reservoir is always a good idea. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Rolling Reservoir. There's delightful hiking along the Bear Peak Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Bear Creek. Just can't get enough of Rolling Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Rolling Dam is beautiful and it's close to Rolling Reservoir, and playing golf is lots of fun at Rolling Hills Country club.

| | Fairgrounds Gulch is a glorious spot to discover, and Rocky Mountain National Park is a pleasant place nearby. Summer at Rolling Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Rolling Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Beaver Brook Number 3 Reservoir;
the smiling folks of Boulder like to hang out close by. Don't leave Rolling Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Mesa Trail, and there's whitewater on Clear Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. Lakes are wonderful;
Blunn Reservoir is a lake that's close to Rolling Reservoir; Rolling Reservoir is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Golden's Scenic Rock RV Park is a pleasant local campground.
Around Rolling Reservoir you don’t get
a lot of rain; most of the rain falls during May, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Marriott Denver West is a tremendous place to get some rest; there are good places to explore along the Beaver Brook Trail.
