Rogers-Dalton Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. Don't leave Rogers-Dalton Reservoir without first paying a visit to Piney Spring. There are some good whitewater spots on Dolores River; after a long day outdoors Ray Motel is a great place to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Rogers-Dalton Reservoir all through the days of summer are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. | | Reservoir dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Sun Canyon Ranch; you'll locate a striking lake called Bell Canyon Reservoir. Rogers-Dalton Reservoir gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls during October, and June is when it's the driest. Near Rogers-Dalton Reservoir you discover the Ormiston Point Stock Driveway which is a great hiking trail, and there's some flowing water close by, South Branch Chico Creek is a stream you can have a look at while you're here.
