The skiing at Winter Park is magnificent; Rogers Peak Lake is not the only site close by, Reynolds Lake is a close by lake. Through the summertime highs here at Rogers Peak Lake reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Rogers Peak Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the King       Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Rogers Peak Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Spruce Lodge Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. Hiking along the James Peak Lake Trail is good fun, and whitewater paddling is great on Boulder Creek. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Creek - West Fork, and Midland Campground is a wonderful                  local campground. The vista of Mount Bancroft from Rogers Peak Lake is delightful, and you might also want to pay a visit to Riflesight Notch while you're here at Rogers Peak Lake. Yeah, come here to Rogers Peak Lake for a great time. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the South Boulder Creek Trail, naturally you could also have a look at Loch Lomond while you're here; it's not far at all. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Rogers Peak Lake, too wonderful to be true. After a long day outdoors Zephyr Mountain Lodge is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two; Berthoud Pass is a glorious local ski area. Iron Horse Resort is a splendid place to get some rest, and the scenery at Ice Lake Dam is scenic.
