not take a little trip to Allen Creek while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at West Fork Campground, and Holiday Inn Express PAGOSA SPRINGS is a nice location to get some rest. Around Rod and Gun Club Lake

 | 16 miles away I was raised near this lake and when a child we had to pack horses into this lake. It is not near any campgrounds, and it's over 25 miles to town, not 18. It gets way colder than 0 in the winter but the views are almost correct. It IS beautiful!... |
