Summertime highs at Rockhole Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are typically in the 30's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Rockhole Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. The Medicine Bow Mountains scenery is always beautiful.       This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous site for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Rockhole Lake is Cache La Poudre River, and unsurprisingly West Branch Laramie River flows through this region. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Rockhole Lake. A wonderful place to camp here at Rockhole Lake is Skyline Campground; hiking along the West Branch Trail is delightful fun. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Bench Lake is in the vicinity.                  If you need a location to stay Americas Best Value Inn Bighorn Lodge is a nice choice, and Twin Crater Lakes is a good lake nearby. A good place to have a look at next to Rockhole Lake is Grassy Pass, and why not take a refreshing hike along the North Fork Trail. And that's not everything you can do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. You can run the rapids of Joe Wright Creek in the vicinity of Rockhole Lake; camping is available at Tunnel Campground. Just can't get enough of the Medicine Bow Mountains.
