Go to Rock Lakes if you want to go to a nice lake. There's some flowing water nearby, Camp Creek is a stream you can go to during your stay, and on a beautiful day you get a great sight of Sheep Mountain from Rock Lakes. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on San Juan River - East Fork, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Treasure Mountain Trail. If

Archuleta Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; Rock Lakes is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Park Creek Campground is a nice place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. rain; June on the other hand is the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. So many cool things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, just inspiring. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express
Pagosa Springs, Co, and West Fork Campground is a good local campground. Throughout the days of summer at Rock Lakes highs are typically in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's.
All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Rock Lakes sink into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Wolf Creek, and if
the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Highline Trail. If you need a place to stay Oak Ridge Lodge is a nice choice; going for a hike along the Windy Pass Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
