Rock Lakes is always a pleasure to visit. A stunning lake like Rock Lake close to Rock Lakes is a fine location to go to, and Rock Lakes is right by the Treasure Mountain Trail. So many enjoyable things in the San Juan Mountains, just phenomenal. San Juan River - East Fork is a nice whitewater spot in close proximity to Rock Lakes, and do take a hike on the Highline Trail. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day you obtain a vista of Sheep Mountain

This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan Mountains. Yeah, come here to Rock Lakes for a wonderful time. Gotta ski! Wolf Creek is a tremendous site to do that, and camping at Park Creek Campground is always a pleasant experience. And that's not all there is to do here in the San Juan Mountains. West Fork Campground is a brilliant location to do that.
Summer brings highs in the 70's to Rock Lakes, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. Through the winter highs are commonly in the 20's; through the dark hours
in the winter at Rock Lakes temperatures sink to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side tour to Camp Creek. You can run the rapids of Wolf Creek right next door to Rock Lakes, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express
Pagosa Springs, Co is a wonderful location to spend a night or two.
Rock Lakes gets very little precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is June.
