Many people like to go to Rock Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Oak Street Inn; Rock Lake is right by the Greyhound Pack Trail. Silverton has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. There's so much to do here at Rock Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ridgeway is a magnificent spot for that. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. From Rock Lake you get a fine vista of Ajax Peak, and

| | wonderful skiing awaits you at Telluride.
New Sheridan Hotel is a splendid spot to get some rest, and Imogene Basin is a glorious site. This location, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. Going for a hike along the Brooklyn Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Mineral Creek - South has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. mostly reach the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Rock Lake sink into the 10's.
Rock Lake is
pretty dry commonly; during July this area sees the most rain; June is the month with the least moisture. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Rock Lake. Hiking along the Weehawken Pack Trail is
good fun, and a perfect location is Imogene Pass. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Rock Lake. Whitewater paddling is tremendous
on Lime Creek. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Rock Lake has to offer, you can camp at Ouray Koa Kampground, and why not take a little trip to Imogene Creek since you're here. Ingram Falls is always fun to check out, and a lake nearby is Ptarmigan Lake.
