Thorne Lake is a splendid lake near Rock Lake, and a short spree to Ingram Falls is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Silverton is just what you need, and since you're here at Rock Lake it's a nice idea to pop by Imogene Basin. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Brooklyn Trail; after a long day outdoors The Ice House       Lodge is a perfect place to spend a night or two. You simply should love the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lime Creek; a wonderful location to camp here at Rock Lake is Ouray Koa Kampground. Since you're here at Rock Lake why not have a look at Imogene Pass, and Mineral Creek - South is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. A beautiful lake like Ptarmigan Lake in the vicinity                  of Rock Lake is a magnificent site to go to, and camping is available at Ridgeway. Rock Lake is located in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. This place, Rock Lake, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. If you need a spot to stay Camel's Garden is a glorious choice, and the Greyhound Pack Trail offers hiking at its best. Yeah, come here to Rock Lake for a great time.
