Do stop by Rock Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. There is a glorious hiking trail near Rock Lake called the Windy Pass Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Wolf Creek. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable things to do in the San Juan Mountains. Some of the water close by flows, like Camp Creek, and Park Creek Campground is a magnificent campground here. So many exciting things to do here in the San Juan Mountains, too great to be true. Lakes? Sure, Rock Lakes is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the summer at Rock Lake highs are commonly in the 70's while night lows are typically in the 30's. Through
the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Rock Lake are in the-10's. The San Juan Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Best Value High Country Lodge is a magnificent location to get some rest; if you come at the right time of year, San Juan River - East Fork offers some good whitewater.
