If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Rock Lake. At Rock Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Rock Lake drop into the 0's. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. A great close by hotel is Rio Cucharas Inn And Restaurant, and the Black Hills
Trail offers hiking at its best. Rock Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. It is very dehydrated here at Rock Lake generally; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
This lake is so wonderful.
