Rock Gap Dam Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Having a wonderful time at Rock Gap Dam Reservoir is painless. Nearby Corduroy Canyon is a good site to go if you're at Rock Gap Dam Reservoir, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Colorado River. Christensen Dam is a location that is next to Rock Gap Dam Reservoir; going for a hike on the Piney Lake Trail is always a fine adventure.

This lake is so wonderful. Blue River has a great
whitewater paddling spot close by, and skiing at Beaver Creek is one of those things you just must do. Around Rock Gap Dam Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other
hand is the driest. Gore Pass Campground is a magnificent campground here, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Beaver Creek is a wonderful choice.
Go for a hike on the Rock Creek Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from
Edwards here. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Park Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Near Rock Gap Dam Reservoir you locate the Sheep Drive Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and you can stay the night at
Blacktail Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Christenson Reservoir right next door to Rock Gap Dam Reservoir, it's a picturesque lake; nice skiing awaits you at Vail.
