Camping at Golden Gate is always a splendid experience; there are magnificent places to look at along the Mesa Trail. You just must go for the Front Range. While you're here at Rock Flats Lake, you could also explore pretty Francis Smart Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Oakwood at Stonegate is a good site to spend a night or two.
