Rock Ballast Reservoir is a location that is pretty dry typically; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Dry Creek Trail. So much fun stuff in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, just phenomenal.
