This lake is one of the great places here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. That right there is a load of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has it all. While you're here at Road Reservoir you can take a hike along the Telephone Draw Trail. There's so much to do here at Road Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Iron Spring       Campground is a splendid spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Cottonwood Trail; you're possibly hooked on lakes, Logging Camp Draw Reservoir is one of those close by. It is very dehydrated here at Road Reservoir mostly; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Road Reservoir.                  Get yourself into a kayak and hit San Miguel River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Road Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Antone Spring Campground. During your visit to Road Reservoir you'll meet some people from Montrose for sure It's always glorious to take a look at Dobler Spring. Be careful coming to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. Hiking along the Horsefly Trail is wonderful fun; there are some perfect whitewater spots on San Miguel River. Throughout the summer months at Road Reservoir highs are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 30's while Road Reservoir night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's.
