If       you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Have a good hiking adventure along the Cascade Trail; do pay a visit to Great Sand Dunes National Monument since you're here at Roach Reservoir. At Roach Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; all through August this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. While you're here at Roach Reservoir you can take                  a hike along the Strawberry Trail, and why not take a little trip to South Bruff Creek while you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
