If you came to camp Hay Press Campground is a great       site to do that, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Rim Trail. There's so much to do here at Rim Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Divide Forks Campground is a delightful location for that, and going for a hike along the Cabin Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Throughout the warm months, highs generally are in the 90's at Rim Pond, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the                  duration of the winter highs are frequently in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Rim Pond. Rim Pond is a location that is pretty waterless usually; during the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is June. Rim Pond is a beautiful lake in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
