Good hiking is available along the Ironedge Trail; glide down the rapids of -blank- in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Gypsum Creek Campground is a good local campground, and if you're popping by from Edwards, you won't be the only one. You clearly ought to love Rim Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Snowmass Lodging Company, and you can never get enough of the splendid       skiing at Aspen Mountain. Go for a hike on the Blue Creek Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Roaring Fork offers some nice whitewater. Having a splendid time in the Sawatch Range is trouble-free. After a long day outdoors The Crestwood Condominiums is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and there are tremendous sites to discover along the Antone Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Sawatch Range has                  to offer. Lakes? Sure, Sugarloaf Lake is close at hand, and Sugarloaf is a peak you can make out from Rim Lake. High temperatures at Rim Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows in the 0's for Rim Lake. Rocky Fork Campground is a delightful campground nearby. Skiing at Aspen Highlands is one of those things you just should do, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Buck Lake.
