When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Ridgway Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Ridgway Reservoir is located in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Uncompahgre       Plateau Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Ridgway Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Country Village RV Ranch Park; there's perfect hiking along the Lou Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Very gorgeous scenery and fine skiing is what you get at Silverton; Doelz Dam is striking. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Cimarron River; obviously Alkali Creek flows through this neighborhood. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in                  one place! The Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains rocks! There are other spots here than Ridgway Reservoir, for example Doelz Reservoir, and Fairway Pines Golf Club is a golf course close by. Ridgway Reservoir is a location that is quite dried up commonly; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ridgway Reservoir; Dallas Trail is a delightful local trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? Telluride is a great place to do that. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Ouray is a nice choice; Chaffe Gulch Dentention Number 6 Reservoir is a good lake close by. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff close to Ridgway Reservoir will keep you coming back time and again. Ridgway Reservoir is right next door to Chaffee Gulch which is beyond doubt worth a visit. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Uncompahgre River, and you can stay the night at Centennial RV Park. This lake is so wonderful.
