For the duration of the warm months, highs generally are in the 80's at Richards Reservoir. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Richards Dam is not far at all from Richards Reservoir, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Richards Reservoir; Greyrock       Trail is a good local trail. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River, and you're sure to encounter some friendly folks from Fort Collins-Loveland here. Budget Host Inn Fort Collins is a glorious place to get some rest; naturally, this is a delightful region for people who like lakes, Black Lake is a lake in the vicinity. Whitewater paddling is good on Cache La Poudre River - North Fork; in all                  probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lindenmeier Lake is just a very short distance away. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Camping at Heron Lake RV Park is always a wonderful experience, and Fort Collins Country Club Golf is a tremendous golf course nearby. At Richards Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; most of the rain falls all through May, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Pawnee - Arapaho National Forest, and the Jug Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.
