Zephyr Mountain Lodge is a glorious site to get some rest, and fine skiing awaits you at Winter Park. Reynolds Lake is a location that       is reasonably arid usually; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. Man, is there a lot of exciting things to do near Reynolds Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Hiking along the Sevenmile Ski Trail is brilliant fun, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Clear Creek. Do go to Stewart Lake Dam since you're here at Reynolds Lake; the James                  Peak Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. If you wish for a little side trip, try Rogers Pass; Reynolds Lake is right by the South Boulder Creek Trail. You'll hit upon a delightful lake called Stewart Lake near Reynolds Lake, and you obtain a nice view of Mount Bancroft from here. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Clear Creek - West Fork offers some perfect whitewater, and if you need a place to stay Iron Horse Resort is a brilliant choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Reynolds Lake has to offer, you can camp at Midland Campground, and Berthoud Pass has great slopes and a friendly staff.
