Camping is available at Delux RV Park; not far from Reservoir D you obtain some splendid water scenery at Reservoir D Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Denver-Northeast, Co is a glorious place to get some rest, and First Creek is near Reservoir D and is always a bliss to stop at. At Reservoir D you always meet someone from Denver-Aurora. Basin F is a good site, and camping at Barr Lake RV Park       is always a nice experience. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Henderson /N East/Denver Area, and do explore Lake Mary, it's a picturesque lake. So much cool stuff to do here at Reservoir D, too glorious to be true. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Buffalo Run Golf Course; paddling on South Platte River is so much fun. Reservoir D is pretty waterless ordinarily; May is the wettest month with most rain; January on the                  other hand is the driest. During the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Reservoir D. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's.
