After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Ouray is a great spot to spend a night or two, and Continental Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Rambouillet Park is a tremendous place; Jarosa Mesa is clearly visible from Regan Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There's       whitewater on Lake Fork Gunnison River for all you adrenaline people, and there are brilliant locations to discover along the Cebolla Trail. All through the months of summer here at Regan Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Regan Lake drop into the-10's. Regan Lake is a beautiful lake                  in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Rio Grande next to Regan Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Rough Creek Trail. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you came to camp Slumgullion Pass Campground is a perfect location to do that; don't leave Regan Lake without first going for a hike along the Fern Creek Stock Driveway. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Regan Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, River Fork Camper Park is a fine local campground; if you get bored of Regan Lake you could also take a look at nearby Rito Hondo Reservoir.
