Lakes are such calm locations, why not stop at Hallenbeck Reservoir Number 1 close to Reeder Reservoir, and this is a popular place for folks from Grand Junction. Grand Junction/Clifton Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. High temperatures at Reeder Reservoir all through the summertime are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down
to the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Reeder Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. If the weather is pleasant here at Reeder Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Indian Point Trail; if you come at the right
time of year, Kannah Creek offers some good whitewater. The snow is great at Powderhorn; there's always Reeder Dam to explore in the neighborhood of Reeder Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Kannah Creek, and you can stay the night at Rv Ranch Grand Junction.
