After a long day outdoors Best Western Clifton Inn is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. And that's not all you can do here at Reeder Reservoir. Wine Country Inn is a splendid site to get some rest, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Spring Camp Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Whitewater Basin Trail will let you absorb the natural       beauty of this region, and needless to say Juniata Ditch is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit. Lakes are such calm locations, why not stop at Hallenbeck Reservoir Number 1 close to Reeder Reservoir, and this is a popular place for folks from Grand Junction. Reeder Reservoir gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the rain is October; the driest month is January. You'll come across a lovely lake called Hallenbeck Reservoir near Reeder Reservoir;                  Grand Junction/Clifton Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. High temperatures at Reeder Reservoir all through the summertime are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Reeder Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. If the weather is pleasant here at Reeder Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Indian Point Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Kannah Creek offers some good whitewater. The snow is great at Powderhorn; there's always Reeder Dam to explore in the neighborhood of Reeder Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
