Red Rock Reservoir is pretty dried up mostly; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Red Rock Reservoir; Daniels Trail is a tremendous local trail, and a wonderful spot for whitewater paddling is Jones Hole Creek. At Red Rock Reservoir through the summer       highs are in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Red Rock Reservoir. A splendid spot to camp here at Red Rock Reservoir is Rainbow Park Campground. So many entertaining things to do at Red Rock Reservoir, so little time. Why not camp at Split Mountain Gorge Campground since you're here at Red Rock Reservoir, and a short spree to Surveyor                  Spring is always worthwhile. Robinson Draw is a great place to spend some time at, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Hoy Trail. The Jones Hole Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River.
