Dinosaur National Monument is rather near Red Rock Reservoir, and the Jones Hole Trail is a tremendous hiking trail nearby. Camping is available at Split Mountain Gorge Campground; get yourself into a kayak and hit Jones Hole Creek. If you're here, you might as well check out Robinson Draw, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Green River. Red Rock Reservoir is pretty waterless commonly; of all the months in a year       May is the one with the most rain while January is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Near Red Rock Reservoir you find the Hoy Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; a short trip to Surveyor Spring is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Rainbow Park Campground is always a perfect experience. High temperatures at Red Rock Reservoir during the days of summer are in the 90's while nighttime lows are frequently in the                  50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Red Rock Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 10's. If the weather is good here at Red Rock Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Daniels Trail, and since you're here, you could also visit stunning Stuntz Reservoir. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Red Rock Reservoir is so good!
