At Red Lakes you don’t see much rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. At Trout Lake Dam near Red Lakes there are some interesting things to see, and why not camp at River Hill Campground since you're here at Red Lakes. sites to explore along the Middle Creek Stock Driveway, and if you come at the right time of year, Rio Grande offers some wonderful whitewater. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a splendid
spot to get some rest, and close by you locate the Fern Creek Stock Driveway which is a great hiking trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. A perfect place to camp here at Red Lakes is Road Canyon Campground; you're probably into lakes, Williams Lakes is one of those nearby.
