A lake close by is Molly Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. There's whitewater on Cache La Poudre River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Fox Acres Country Club is a nice golf course close by. So many enjoyable things to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains,       not enough time. You can run the rapids of Cache La Poudre River near Red Feather Lake, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the North Lone Pine Trail. Red Feather Lake is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a perfect location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Red Feather Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bellaire Lake Campground is a brilliant place for that.                  That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Red Feather Lake has it all. Nakomis Lake Dam is worth visiting since you're here; the Killpecker Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. All through the days of summer here at Red Feather Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Red Feather Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Pocahontas Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Red Feather Lake has to offer, you can camp at Dowdy Lake - Arapaho National Forest.
