It is very waterless here at Rawah Lake Number 2 regularly; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. Rawah Lake Number       2 is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Hooligan Roost Campground is a fine local campground, and while you're here, you could also have a look at scenic Kelly Lake. Having a great time at Rawah Lake Number 2 is uncomplicated. The Rawah Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in close proximity to Rawah Lake Number 2, and Cache La Poudre River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. And that's not all you can do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains.                  Nearby Grassy Pass is a splendid spot to go if you're at Rawah Lake Number 2, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Joe Wright Creek. The warmest time of the year at Rawah Lake Number 2 arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Rawah Lake Number 2 night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. There is a great hiking trail near Rawah Lake Number 2 called the McIntyre Lake Trail, and do pop by Big Rainbow Lake, it's a striking lake. Near Rawah Lake Number 2 you come across the Link Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and getting to Camp Creek from Rawah Lake Number 2 is painless.
