Rainbow Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Playing golf is lots of fun at Breckenridge Golf Club, and close by you locate Frisco Bay. A brilliant nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Summit County/Frisco, Co, and the skiing at Breckenridge is nice. This lake is so wonderful. Ophir Mountain can be observed from Rainbow Lake, and Rainbow Lake is right by the Mesa-Cortina Trail.

At Rainbow Lake all through the summer months highs are in the 70's; the night is a bit cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Rainbow Lake.
