It's always fun to stop by Rainbow Lake. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful. There's whitewater on San Juan River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and if you're into cool geologic marks try Monk Rock. Man, is there a lot of fun stuff to do near Rainbow Lake. You're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Arrowhead Lake is one of those nearby, and everybody close by loves skiing at Wolf Creek. If only every spot had this much outdoors

| | enjoyable things, what a great planet it would be. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of San Juan River. So much amusing stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, too perfect to be true. North Fork Little Pagosa Creek is a charming stream that is worth a visit, and Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a nice place to get some rest. for folks who like lakes. Spring Creek Reservoir is a lake around here; there's brilliant hiking along the Turkey Lake Trail. On a beautiful day you acquire a vista of The Keyhole from Rainbow Lake; great hiking is available along
the Fourmile Stock Trail. Summertime highs at Rainbow Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter
nights at Rainbow Lake are in the-10's. Not much rain falls here at Rainbow Lake; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; June is the month with the least moisture. Dry warm beds await you at Pagosa Lodge,
and Piedra Falls is a great local attraction. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Valley is a brilliant location to spend some time at. There's so much to do here at Rainbow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Middle Fork Hunter
Campground is a tremendous place for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Sportsman Supply & Campground is a good place to do that; don't leave Rainbow Lake without first going for a hike along the Martinez Creek Trail.
