If you are in Larimer county it's always a good idea to stop by Rainbow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Saint Vrain Creek - North has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and Rainbow Lake is right by the Bright Trail. Nearby Bear Gulch is a great place to go if you're at Rainbow Lake, and Deer Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. Do have a look at Sunset Lake right next door to Rainbow Lake, it's a lovely lake, and Park Place

Not much rainfall falls here at Rainbow Lake; through August this area sees the most rain; November meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Johnny Park invigorates the spirit; a short journey to Wilson Spring is always worthwhile. Having a great time in the Front Range is simple. Why not take a refreshing hike along the North Sheep Mountain Trail, and you can stay the night at Stone Mountain Lodge and RV Park. The warmest time of the year at Rainbow
Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Rainbow Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area in the neighborhood of Rainbow Lake has to offer. While you're here at Rainbow Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Fort Collins-Loveland. You just can't imagine
the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Front Range has to offer. Whitewater paddling is good on Saint Vrain Creek - South, and if you need a site to stay Lake Shore Lodge is a nice choice. Rainbow Lake beyond doubt is in the middle
of a lovely outdoors paradise. Take a hike on the Ceran Vrain Trail; here at Rainbow Lake you can spot Kenny Mountain.
