Rainbow Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Having a magnificent time in the Sawatch Range is easy. Glide down the rapids of Clear Creek in a kayak, and lakes are such serene sites, why not explore Hagerman Lake. Rainbow Lake is located in the Sawatch Range. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Sawatch Range has to offer. People from Edwards love to come to Rainbow Lake, and there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the

This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Rainbow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Elbert Creek Campground; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Highline Trail. Ski Cooper is a very popular ski area close by; a wonderful nearby hotel is The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch. Be careful coming to Rainbow Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a magnificent place to spend a night or two.
Rainbow Lake is a great place to camp, Mary Queen Campground is a great place, and the Mount Massive Trail is a great hiking trail close
by. This lake is so wonderful. Not much precipitation falls here at Rainbow Lake; through August this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
For the period of the long summer days here at Rainbow Lake,
high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Rainbow Lake are in the 0's.
