Do check out Morton Lake near Rainbow Lake, it's a delightful lake, and the Highline Trail offers hiking at its best. It is very dried out here at Rainbow Lake mostly; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime highs at Rainbow Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with       highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Rainbow Lake dip into the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Rainbow Lake and you like golf, you can take a look at MT Massive Golf Course; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a great location to spend a night or two. Sugar Loafin' RV/campground is a glorious campground nearby, and a great nearby                  hotel is Silver King Inn. Man, is there plenty of amusing stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. There's some flowing water close by, East Tennessee Creek is a stream you can explore during your stay, and if you came for an overnight stay Belle of Colorado Campground is a wonderful spot to camp. You absolutely have to go for the Sawatch Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Massive Trail, and a good location close by is Gleason Gulch. You can run the rapids of Arkansas River near Rainbow Lake; skiing at Ski Cooper is one of those things you just have to do. This place, Rainbow Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. You can never get enough of the nice skiing at Copper Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Tennessee Park is a wonderful spot any time of year, and a wonderful lake like Home Lake is a tremendous place to take a look at.
