If you are traveling by, why not stop by Rainbow Lake. Rainbow Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. From a rain point of view Rainbow Lake is a quite typical place; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. do near Rainbow Lake. Kendall Mountain has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. Rainbow Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Durango Koa Kampground is a great spot to camp nearby; you can take a little visit to
Terminal Dam since you're here at Rainbow Lake. You're sure to bump into some nice folks from Durango here, and nearby you find the Circle Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains
for a perfect time. Going for a hike on the Goodhope Stock Driveway is always a glorious adventure, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Silverton. This lake is so wonderful. Tamarron Resort is a magnificent
place to get some rest; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Canyon Creek. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Rainbow Lake, so little time. Nary Draw is near Rainbow Lake and is certainly a nice spot to pop by, and the Highline Trail is a good hiking trail close by.
