The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows during the winter for Rainbow Lake tend to be in the-10's. The Rainbow Lake Trail is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Rainbow Lake; after a long day outdoors Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Howelsen       Hill is a great spot to do that, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Lost Ranger Trail. Rainbow Lake is usually a pretty dried up location; December is when you get the most snow here, and August on the other hand is the driest. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Near Rainbow Lake you stumble on the Newcomb Creek Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Lakes? Sure, Ceanothuse Lake is in the vicinity. This lake                  is so wonderful. The slopes of Steamboat are so inviting nobody can resist. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is abundant here in the Park Range. Camping at Grizzly Creek Campground is always a great experience, and Winterwood Townhomes is a brilliant site to get some rest. Rainbow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Park Range. If you come at the right time of year, Elk River offers some delightful whitewater, and not far from Rainbow Lake you'll find Middle Rainbow Lake which is a gorgeous lake.
