Rainbow Lake is not the only spot nearby, Middle Rainbow Lake is a nearby lake, and going for a hike along the Rainbow Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. Around Rainbow Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall;

This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums
is a tremendous location to spend a night or two; on a nice day you can take a hike along the Newcomb Creek Trail. If the weather is brilliant here at Rainbow Lake, you can go for a hike along the Lost Ranger Trail, and Summit Lake
Campground is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something close to Rainbow Lake? Ceanothuse Lake is in the neighborhood.
During the summertime months highs here at Rainbow Lake reach the 80's.
Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Rainbow Lake.
