Do stop by Rainbow Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. Rainbow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Agua Fria Lake, and a pleasant close by hotel is Western Lodge. You can run the rapids of Elk River near Rainbow Lake, and a nice location to camp here at Rainbow Lake is Summit Lake Campground.

yourself if you don’t go skiing at Steamboat since you're here, and perfect hiking is available along the Lost Ranger Trail.
And that's not all the things you can do here in the Park Range. Camping at Grizzly Creek Campground
is always a splendid experience; you can go for a hike on the Rainbow Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Howelsen Hill, and there's great hiking along the Newcomb Creek Trail.
It is very dried up here at Rainbow Lake commonly; December is the wettest month with most snow, and August is the month with the least moisture.
