Rainbow Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Not much precipitation falls here at Rainbow Lake; August is when you get the most rain here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Rainbow Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Colt Spring Campground is a brilliant local campground; you can run the rapids of Arkansas River. Throughout the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Rainbow

| | Lake while night lows are regularly in the 30's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's; night lows all through the wintertime for Rainbow Lake tend to be in the-10's. Camping at Hughes Meadow Campground is always a tremendous experience, and there's whitewater on Arkansas River for all you adrenaline kick people. on lakes, Fox Lake is one of those close by, and do take a hike on the South Pine Creek Trail. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Rainbow Lake has it all. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Monarch
is great, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Cottonwood Lake is just a very short distance away. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Vista Inn, and Hughes Creek is in the neighborhood of Rainbow Lake
and is always a diversion to have a look at. Rainbow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. At Rainbow Lake you can catch a sight of Sheep Mountain, and Rainbow Lake is right by the Horn Fork
Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Rainbow Lake. Everybody close by loves skiing at Ski Cooper; hiking along the Harvard Trail is splendid fun. And if that's not enough there's a heap more enjoyable things to do in the Sawatch
Range. A nice location right next door to Rainbow Lake is Avalanche Gulch, and if you need a spot to stay Buena Vista Super 8 Motel is a great choice.
