Go to Rainbow Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Having a splendid time in the Sawatch Range is simple. Stay the night at Hughes Meadow Campground, and you're possibly hooked on lakes, Cottonwood Lake is one of those nearby. A perfect location for whitewater paddling near Rainbow Lake is Arkansas River, and a splendid place is Avalanche Gulch. This lake is so wonderful. Summer at Rainbow Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, ordinarily in the 30's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Rainbow Lake tend to be in the-10's. is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Horn Fork Trail; Ski Cooper has perfect slopes and a friendly staff.
But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. Rainbow Lake is right by the South
Pine Creek Trail, and nice skiing awaits you at Monarch. Take a hike on the Harvard Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range.
Any time is a good time at Rainbow Lake if you fancy the outdoors. Jump
Steady is a wonderful place to get some rest; Arkansas River is a great whitewater spot nearby. It is very arid here at Rainbow Lake usually; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture.
